What a Wig Revamp Really Includes (And Why It Matters)

A lot of people hear “wig revamp” and think it’s just washing and curling. But a true revamp is MUCH more than that — and it can add months of life back into your wig.

Here’s what usually happens during a professional revamp:

Deep cleansing

We remove product buildup, oils, glue residue, and dirt so the hair can actually move and shine again.

Hydration + conditioning

Moisture is EVERYTHING. A good revamp includes deep conditioning so the hair becomes soft and manageable.

Restyling

Cutting, curling, pressing, and shaping the wig so it frames your face again — not just sitting there.

Lace + hairline refresh

Cleaning the lace carefully, fixing parting, and making sure it looks natural.

Why revamping is worth it

Revamps:

✔ Save money (you don’t need a new wig yet)
✔ Keep your unit looking fresh
✔ Help prevent tangling and breakage
✔ Make installs look brand new again

If your wig feels dry, stiff, or “old,” don’t panic — a revamp may bring it back to life.
